Robber's cave is basically a narrow gorge formed in the conglomerate limestone. The location is sure to make you feel you are a part of a mystery movie with its dark limestone, streams gushing into the cave and the sounds echoing inside the formation.

If not this, then it will at least gives a sense of belongingness as Mother Nature will make you slow down and enjoy the mesmerizing beauty of the location. The cave has some extraordinary cold water springs in the underground which help cool down the super hot summer afternoon temperature. It is a perfect picnic spot amidst the natural beauty of Uttarakhand and must be visited at least once.
We climb up the slippery rocks though the water & went up. it is really sensational when we sat there watching open blue sky above our head, blue water flowing below our feet, rocks stands like mountain, waterfall.
Yes, you can have hot maggie or omlettes sitting on chairs with your feets in water . A must go place to relax..Heard from the locals that the water level rises very high during/after rains but it was super good. Also, you can rent slippers from the entrance and easily enter into the waters. Don't try in barefoot as the stones below are quite rough.

Being honest with my readers, what I did not like about the place is that it gets a bit too crowded in the evenings. But, this is an activity which you can try out with your family easily as it is far from risky. But, if you have difficulty in walking then it is better for you to stay back. Also you can enjoy bathing in the water or the waterfall if you have ample time in your hand.
So, take a nice walk and an exhilarate whenever you go. Just avoid during rains as the caves get flooded and could be very dangerous. Hope you like my writing! Thank you so much for reading! 🏻-Deboleena
