THE ULTIMATE GUIDE TO JAIPUR SIGHTSEEING 2020 | JAIPUR TOUR GUIDE

Updated: Apr 19, 2020

What comes in your mind when you hear “Rajasthan” or its capital city “Jaipur”?

For me, its splash of colours. This city is the pure example of vibrance and radiance. I definitely love having my cup of coffee in mountain. But, sometimes drinking coffee in the midst of chaos in Jaipur is soothing as well.

Surrounded by people, under dusky skies, with some quirky background and some heart touching laughters.

I have been to Jaipur, numerous of times but every time I go I find something different and more charming.

From experiencing the colourful culture, treating myself by some amazing and famous pyazz kachori and savouring up with sweet mango lassi and Ghewar. From auto rickshaw rides to getting eye catchy pictures in the royal city palace.

The purest colours of this city is revealed when sun is setting and the golden tint covers the whole city and within a block of an eye, everything seems to be magical. Every time I see the same art or design I find is something different. Trust me this cityscapes of Jaipur is amazing. Historic scapes surrounded by some local markets and food joints.

So here this blog is specifically about where you can take jaw dropping pictures and what to eat. Here you go:-

1. Hawa Mahal- two things I would like to mention timings matters the most here, perfect timings to get some stunning shot is either you go sunrise or right before sunset. You will get the perfect silhouette shot, when the sky is blur and the wind palace is light up.

2. Chokhi Dhani- perfect place for dinner where you can capture some amazing shots. This place is a perfect treat to your eye with some traditional folk performances. Witness the true essence of Rajasthan.

3. Jal Mahal- this palace is surrounded by water, you can get some amazing capture around 6:30-7am. A little after sunrise. Its a complete golden aura as a bunch of birds flying makes it more beautiful.

4. Nahargarh Fort-this place is a complete royalty cum amalgamation of Indian and European culture.

5. Amer Fort- try to reach there by 8 am, otherwise you might get stuck in crowd. S o here you can capture some captivating Rajputana royalty. Dance on some mirror glass panels and mirror mosaics. Feel the royalty and navigate  some stunning courtyards, doors and windows.

6. Do explore local markets such as Johari bazar and Tripoli bazar for Insta worthy street shots. Jaipur’s bylines and bazaar’s are must place to shop. get some authentic anklets, earrings, dupattas, juties. They are so colourful and pretty.

7. City palace- I personally love this place, I had some amazing shoots here. And apart from it I will highly recommend you guys to go Blue palace which is king’s palace (have to pay 2000rs extra). Hardly people go there because of fees. But I will definitely recommend you guys to go and get immerse yourself in royalty, get super amazing pictures.

8. Cafe Tapri is must visit place for eating. Grab some amazing tea, poha, cheese golgappa, tadka Maggie (must have) and blueberry cheesecake.
