One of the most extra ordinary escapade where my canvas of emotions were poured out on a blank sheet of paper and now its here. When I entered kareri village this lesser known village in Himalayas, there was a beckoning silence with a sense of an adventure. One of the most spectacular view I witnessed when the mountains got engulfed by the clouds. River was flowing boisterously, it started to drizzle everything was transformed, droplets on the petals of poppies and on every leaf. How pretty! Those tiny settlements create such beautiful contrasting palette in the lap of Himalayas. I was dancing on the tunes of chirping tiny birds.

Acres of lush greens right in front of my eyes, so exhilarating it was.
Kareri village made me realise how different I am, possibly a vintage soul stuck in this millennial age. As I took my step forward, I was in awe as I was getting high on the fragrance of wild Himalayan flower grew wild in the air.
(Lush green farms).
Who doesn’t want total a break? Who doesn’t want to soak in misty mountains? Who doesn’t want to escape from mundane schedule?
How about walking on the path which is less trodden and refresh our inner self? Exploring kareri village should be in everyone’s bucket list because its also the gateway for amazing carer lake trek. It’s a two day trek.
Don’t you want to bring little specks of magic in life? Experiencing the untouched treasures vs the usual hustle of life. What would you choose?

I chose KARERI VILLAGE. Because dharamshala and mcleodganj is too crowded though but it has its own charm. But kareri village has its own salient charm.

The gush of wind rushed in my veins making me awakened. As I walked down exploring the village I was filled with contentment as I came across few women farmers working in their mustard fields. Most welcoming hearts I came across. The entire conversation with them was touching and their extending welcoming hand to have proper himalayan meal with them is really one of my favourite moment.

(Crimson sunset- what could I ask for more?)
As evening approached near, the entire sky turned in crimson, the boulders and rocks were painted as the shadow played with trees in the forest. Pattern of the clouds were scattered yet together.I was more excited for the night which was approaching, was really excited to witness the dancing constellation in freezing night. Soon the whole sky sparkled with trillions of stars with a camera in my hand to capture the Milky Way which I saw. That line amongst stars. One of the best it was, with a spirit of exploration. Kareri village trek made me spell bound in its natural essence.

Route guide- Take a bus from Delhi to dharamshala (10hrs), from their take a cab for kareri village(1hr30 mins). And the best time according to me to go their is post monsoon and if you want to go on a snowy kareri lake trek go in the month of march-april.
