Who doesn’t want to disconnect from this chaotic world or lifestyle and live a life without any worries? Who doesn’t want to lie down under celestial display? Who doesn’t want to get lost in wilderness? Who doesn’t want to walk deep into the woods? Who doesn’t love to relax in the lap of Himalayas?

Everyone wants that right? So did I.

How about camping on the banks of river Indus with clouds hovering all around, deep into the woods, where sun and mist play with each other? I think I personally loved the idea of having hot cappuccino in the wilderness. So I headed to bikamp adventures, Leh, settled on a picturesque setting amid Himalayas. I had one of the most amazing as well as thrilling experience of camping ever. The serene sound of river Indus, flowing amidst the woods soothed my soul. At night it was pitch dark, but numerous  shimmering stars lighted the place naturally. I was mesmerized by the different facets of landscapes and extremely hospitable people. I woke up to a very awe inspiring view. snow clad mountain ranges, different colors, that gold tint.

Away from the confusion, chaos, I encountered something very peaceful. I found something more of worth, here while camping in bikamp leh  . I felt the peace and serenity across my body, skin and soul. I observed the light keenly while relaxing on the bank of river Indus.

I think camping at Bikamp, leh is one of the most surreal experiences in my life  till now. First of all I was stunned by the kaleidoscope landscapes of Leh. My heart  captured more of those myriad landscapes than I could capture in my camera. The spectacular and stunning view of the camp got imprinted on my memory and etched on my heart. The connection with hospitable and helpful people has been established forever. The pure and primitive beauty of landscape of Leh and the amazing affable people are one of the strongest reason for my desire to camp over there.

The weather was cold and wind was chilled but their warm welcoming gave warmth to my heart. I was left speechless with their warmth. I strongly recommend everyone to go and experience the rawness of nature in this so called man made lifestyle. Lie down in the lap of Himalayas, and instead of just capturing the images with your camera or phone, capture the image visually in your heart.

I feel camping in Ladakh is one of the most exhilarating experiences for a traveller who seeks adventure with an ambience of paradise.  Take a break from the hustle and bustle of city life and go camping to  self introspect yourself and discover yourself a bit more in Ladakh.The picturesque landscape of Ladakh is a unique charm that draws hardcore travellers and bikers from all over the world. There are series of camp sites where you can spend night under the stars, maybe in the middle of forest or in the middle of nowhere.

This camping place is hidden away from the prodding eyes of tourists. From  the curious eyes of all the commercialized business people.  Here, every bit of the nature is so pure, fresh, serene and so soothing. And Ladakh is actually not meant for  only photography but its meant for capturing everything in your heart apart from your camera. I sat on the banks of Indus River and awaited the sunset in the laps of Ladakh. And trust me its one of the most beautiful sunset I had ever seen in Himalayas.

Camping at Ladakh is so good! I laid down and my soul was dancing on the music which was coming from within the nature. Those music can only be heard in silence.

Right now, dwelling in the Delhi air, is making me miss this particular campsite and I miss my amazing me time!
