WATERFALL AND HILLS
We start from bangalore and our first destination is the gigantic waterfall in the kaveri river ,cutting the deccan pleateau,THE SHIVANASAMUDRA FALLS.This was the site for the first hydroelectric project in Asia.Then we proceed towards the scenic B R Hills in Tamil Nadu wich has a sancturay in the confluence of the Eastern and Western ghats.Next day our journey strats towrds Talakadu the famous “Five Face of Lord Shiva ” temple.we then end pour journey at Somnathpura to visit the famous Chennakesava Temple on the banks of river kaveri and return back to Vangalore.
LARGEST MAHAVIR STATUE
Our first destination is The Savandurga Hill which is among the largest monoliths hills in Asia that rises to 1226 metres above sea level.Then we proceed towards Bheemeshwari Temple which is one of the oldest temples in South india.It also has a waterfall which needs a short trek to view the majestic waterfall that is more beautiful in the rainy season.We then proceed to Shravanabelagola which has the Gomteshwara statue that is an architectural and sculptural achievement of Jainsm. Our journey ends in the scenic town of Ramanagara before we return to bangalore.Camping in tents is a major activity done here.
SPLENDID HILLS.
Our extensive journey starts with the visit to the splendid hill top of Shivgange tat rises to a height of 805 metres.It is a major Hindu pilgrimage centre also known as “Kashi of The South”.We then drive along National Highway to reach Devranayadurga which also has Hindu Temples .the hill top rises to 1204 metres and offers a splendid view of the entire Tumkur town.Then we proceed towards Channarayana Durga which has a splendid Hill Fort that depicts the rise and fall of various empires.Further we reach Madhugiri town that has Asia’s second largest monolith and derives its name from that (“Honey Hill “).Our journey proceeds towards Lepakshi which has numerous shrines of Lord Shiva,Vishnu and Veerbhadra .built by the Vijayanagara kings.Then we proceed towards the mountain fortress of Skandagiri Hill top which is a short trek.Finally our journey ends in the famous Nandi hills which is also a hill fortress and believed to be the origin of the Akravathy river.
PICTURESQUE.
Our journey starts from bangalore towards the Kanakpura Highway and after a diversions we reach the confluence of Akjravathi and kaveri river where a gorge is formed.It provides oppurtunities to the tourists to have a bath in the clear river waters.Then we proceed towards Hogenakkal Waterfalls in the kaveri river in Tamil nadu.It is also famous as the “Niagara Falls ” of India due to its huge volume of water which also gives oppurtunites for boat rides .Next we reach Yelagiri hills through a scenic road trip in Tamil nadu which is a small hill station that situated at an altitude of 1105 metres above sea level.finally our last destination is Kolar which is considered as the Silk,Milk,Mango and Gold city of india.In this city the most famous place to visit is the Antaragange which has a temple in a pond that has a continuous supply of water from the underground.
